Little bit of early morning crochet

Last week I had a lovely early morning crochet me-time on my stoop. I made a cute little doily. The original pattern is from a Japanese crochet book, but I incorporated my own stitches here and there, and came up with this......

I had some left over wool and thought the colors realy complement each other

Circle blanket

a While ago I started with some circles using all my little bit of leftover yarn.  It started out with this orange yarn........

Then I added a bit of color around each orange circle.......

And another few more rounds of color - this is getting crazy with color, but because I'm trying to use up as much leftover yarn as possible, I can't realy be picky about color coordination.....

I have decided to use grey to make the final round and  to start making it square

....and since my grey is finished, I going to use leftover black 4ply yarn (using 2 strands together)

.....buzy crocheting the squares together...

...another 3 to go, will soon show you the end result - I'm already planning a edging.......

Lente !!!!

Hoop almal het n pragtige lente dag gehad. Ek het my dag geniet deur myself met die nuwe Simply Knitting te bederf..... sal vir jul nog foto wys van die nice hekelnaald wat saam met die uitgawe gekom het.
Aangesien dit lente is, laat ek my mooi blokkie wys wat ek rukkie gelede gehekel het

Ek het die patroon op die internet gekry en hul noem hom - Crocodile Stitch Afghan Block : Croco-Dahlia.

Ek moet nog besluit wat ek met hom gaan maak, ek het net 1 gemaak.....
Baie mooi geseende dag verder en lekker hekel.
